Our next Family History Group meets on TUESDAY 28th JUNE at 2 p.m. There will be no meeting during May but members are reminded that a Family History Festival will be held at Newcastle City Library on SATURDAY 28th MAY 2022 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. We hope you can join us there.

Tuesday 30 November 2021 at 7 p.m via Zoom – A House Through Time – Our own local version of the David Olusoga TV series. It’s about Fawdon House which today is the Northumbrian Piper public house on Red House Farm but has had more than a dozen fascinating tenants over almost two centuries – from Newcastle’s first postmaster and several war heroes to an international footballer and a renowned industrialist.
